Ancient China

 



The civilization of China is considered the oldest on the planet- it is still continuing from ancient times! We have been learning about the contributions of this culture, and your task will be to make connections to it's lasting impacts so that you can post your findings!

Archaeologist Assignment:
Click on the links above to learn and gather as much knowledge as you can.  There is a video and an article that will provide information for you to become experts on the history of the Terracotta Warriors of Xian, China.  *The 3rd link will take you to a site where you will select EXHIBIT so you can enjoy the photos of this wonder of the ancient world!!
  • Use your graphic organizer to record your data.  You will use the information to compose a paragraph that will demonstrate your understanding of this cultural phenomenon. As always, include the 5W's and H in your writing.

Hinduism and Ancient India


India has a very different culture than we have in America.  This is especially noticeable as we learn about the religion of Hinduism, and the social ranking of the Caste System.
Task: Click on the links to open a web-article and video.  As you read the article and watch the video, fill out the graphic organizer- it will help you compose your blog response.  *You should also use your class notes!
